Shipping

A.

Orders will arrive in 2-4 business days from the day you place your order. This timeframe allows us to receive your order and package it appropriately, before shipping it overnight. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a Canada Post tracking number and an expected delivery date. You can verify your delivery date or track your shipment on the Canada Post website.

Once an order has left Smartfit Nutrition and the delivery's tracking number begins to show progress, Smartfit Nutrition is no longer responsible for the status of the package as it is in the hands of the courier. Smartfit Nutrition cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen orders, or any damages that may occur during delivery. For failed deliveries that are not picked up and sent back to us, Smartfit will cancel the order and refund the purchase excluding any shipping costs incurred. Smartfit Nutrition cannot be held responsible for delivery attempts, failed deliveries or any other issues with the courier. If you require more information in this regard please email, service@smartfitnutrition.ca

Please note that we do not process and ship orders over the weekend or on statutory holidays. 

A. You do not have to be home to receive your order. Packages can be left at any exterior door location. Please be sure to refrigerate or freeze the product as soon as possible after delivery. If this is a gift, please alert gift recipients that a perishable gift will be delivered to them and to freeze or refrigerate all products as soon as possible upon delivery

All Smartfit Nutrition products are shipped flash frozen and individually vacuum sealed to preserve naturally occurring nutrients and to lock in freshness. They are then packed in a corrugated box lined with thick polystyrene to ensure product stays cold throughout the delivery process. Once the product is received, it must be frozen promptly. 

If your product happens to arrives partially thawed, the product and quality is still good as long as product feels cool to the touch. Refreeze until you are ready to use. 

A. Currently, we are only shipping within Ontario, Canada. We hope to be adding more delivery locations in the near future, so please be sure to check back or sign-up with your email address and we'll notify you once shipping in your area is available (sign-up through the Home Page). All shipments require a street address (sorry, no P.O. boxes).
A. In order to deliver to apartment buildings without a concierge, someone must be home to accept delivery. Sorry but we do not deliver to P.O. boxes
A. Send an email to service@smartfitnutrition.ca right away with your order number to let us know and we will do our best to call it off ASAP. Unfortunately, we can only cancel orders within a few hours that they were made. (If an order is placed on a holiday or weekend, we will only be able to cancel it the following business day.) Once order has been processed or the tracking details have been sent, we can no longer cancel the order.

Shopping cart

A. After you have entered the products you would like to purchase, proceed to your shopping cart and in the "Discount Code" box simply enter in your promotion code then click the "apply code" button, your shopping cart will be updated to reflect the promotion details.

Products

A. All of our chicken products are from a Canadian Farm-Raised chicken supplier who adheres to the code of ethics of the “Stratégie Québécoise de santé et de bien-être des animaux” of MAPAQ. This means that the chicken processor only partners with poultry companies that share the same values on animal welfare as outlined by the Government of Quebec.
A. All of the vegetables we use are locally sourced when possible (seasonally) and otherwise imported fresh for quality purposes. All of our meals are prepared with fresh vegetables and flash frozen to preserve naturally occurring nutrients and lock in freshness. Smartfit Nutrition meals are made in Canada and produced without added chemicals or manufacturing aids to ensure quality and nutrition that is consistent with a made-at-home meal.
